the deep sea fishing trip of a lifetime aboard the "QUETZAL".
Quetzal is a 45 ft Hatteras with twin 692 Detroit Diesels.
We have two air conditioners, and it is the cleanest
charter fishing boat in the Pompano Beach area with
all the amenities. Our charter crew takes pride in there
work, and it shows! We are located at the legendary
Hillsboro Inlet Marina in Pompano Beach, Florida. It
is a fishing vessel you would be proud to bring your
family aboard. Quetzal has been fishing
south Florida waters for over 40 years.
The vessel is deeps sea fishing tournament ready! We
have top of the line tackle from light to heavy. We
are also only one bridge away to the fishing grounds,
about a 15 minute ride. Whereas other charter boats
have at least a half hour ride each way to the inlet,
which is considered part of your trip. We are dropping
the riggers, and putting the baits out before you know
it! Prices include your bait, tackle, fishing licenses,
and the ice. All you need to bring is what you would
like to eat and drink, and we'll take care of the rest!

the Captain
 Captain John Whitelaw, is a native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy. John is an avid sport fisherman and experienced navigator who is USCG licensed with over 15 years experience in the marine industry. He welcomes you aboard the Quetzal this season and assures you of an exciting and rewarding fishing experience on the waters off Pompano Beach.
