FIAMMA, Inc. carries
a one year limited warranty from the date of original
purchase to the final purchaser. This is a non transferable
warranty.
IMPORTANT:
In case of light to moderate rains,
1). Lower one end of the awning to allow for water
run off.
2). Install the
special “Center Rafter” (not included
with awning length 8’4” and smaller).
IMPORTANT:
In case of strong winds, storms, heavy rains
or snow, close the awning.
The following items are covered under this warranty.
Defects in material or workmanship including the
following:
The
canopy material is warranted against:
A). Excessive fading for one year from the date
of purchase (there is always slight color change
due to ultraviolet rays).
B). Excessive cracking,
peeling, hardening or loss of strength under normal
conditions and if not subjected to high winds, storms,
snow or water pooling.
The
following items are not covered under this warranty:
1). IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED
TO ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE OF THE
AWNINGS. LIABILTY FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL EXPENSES, UNDER ANY
AND ALL WARRANTIES IS EXCLUDED. Some states do not
allow limitation on how long an implied warranty
lasts, or do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitations may not apply to you.
2). Any failure
that results from accident, purchaser’s abuse,
neglect, improper maintenance or failure to operate
and use the product under normal conditions as specified
within the instructions provided.
3). Any failure
that results from improper installation of the product.
4). All labor expenses
must be borne by the purchaser after the first ninety
days of ownership.
Responsibilities
of the Company under this warranty:
1). FIAMMA, Inc.
will furnish, at no charge, replacement parts found
by the Company to be defective, provided that the
Company receives notice of the defect within one
year from the date of original purchase.
Responsibilities
of the Purchaser under this warranty:
1). Purchaser will have to show dated proof of purchase
to qualify for any credits under provisions for
coverage.
2). Promptly notify
the seller or alternately, the Company of any claim
hereunder.
3). Before any product
or part can be returned to FIAMMA, Inc. for inspection
a “Return Goods Authorization” number
must be obtained from the Company prior to return.
4). All freight
expenses to and from the Company must be borne by
the purchaser. Parts found to be defective within
thirty days will be sent prepaid.
5). In addition
to returning defective parts as afore described,
the purchaser shall have the option of requesting
the Company to ship replacement parts to purchaser
on a COD basis, payable by purchaser at the full
retail price of the parts. Upon determination by
the Company that the original parts are defective,
the company will notify the purchaser of such determination
and will issue any credit due to the purchaser.
(This option will minimize the period of time during
which the purchaser is unable to use the original
parts).
6). Use reasonable
care in maintenance, operation, use and storage
of the product in accordance with the instructions
provided.
7). Have warranty
work performed by an RV dealer or representative
approved by FIAMMA, Inc. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
