Fishing Destinations: Smith River, Klamath River and Mattole River

September 25 through March 15

During this time, we are fishing three of the most beautiful rivers in the lower 48. Our salmon season runs from September 25 through Jan 1. Our king salmon run 20 to 30 pounds with several fish in the 40 to 50 pound class taken every year. Our steelhead season starts Dec. 15 and runs through March 15. These fish are wild. They average 8 to 12 pounds with several over 15 pounds as well as the occasional 20+ monster caught every year. The Smith River hosts some of the world's finest steelhead fishing.

May 1 through September 15

During this time we are fishing for the largest king salmon in the world, the world famous Kenai King. The fish here average 45 pounds with lots of fish in the 50, 60 and 70 pound class caught every year. The world record is from the Kenai, a whopping 97.4 pound giant! We are also fishing the Kasilof River and Cook Inlet, both of which produce kings between 20 and 70 pounds. Halibut fishing, fly-out fishing and trophy big-game hunting can also be arranged for you.
