Long Island
This significant island, renowned for its natural beauty, was a stop-off on Columbus’ famed 1492 voyage. With a population of over 5000, Long Island’s fertile soil has enabled much prosperity over the years, particularly in the areas of corn, peas, bananas, and pineapple. A port of entry is located in Clarence Town, with customs and immigration offices. The 35 hour, 350 mile route is traveled biweekly by G&G.
