2nd.
The Sailfish are here!!!
We
started the week with
Marcy and Jason from
Idaho catching 2 nice
sailfish, a 96” and
an 85”. Then, on
an afternoon trip, we
had Miss Samantha Perez
(10) from Claremont,
Florida on board and
she caught her first
sailfish (88”).
Congratulations and great
job Samantha!!!
Next on board
were Jeff Kopaska and Craig Gilmore and they both landed
nice sailfish. Jeff landed an 83” fish and Craig landed
an 86” fish. They both had a great time catching their
fish, taking pictures and then releasing the fish to fight
again another day. Way to go guys and thanks for the email
and pictures!
Late in the
week we had Mike, Diann and Jeff from Indianapolis on board
and they landed several dolphin fish. Then, over the weekend,
we had Jerry, Joel, Neal and Greg from New Jersey and Philadelphia
on board and I have to say they caught the most unusual fish,
a lizardfish! Our last customers for the week were, Eugene,
Scott and John from Denver, Chicago and Virginia and they
landed a mutton snapper, Spanish mackerel and bonita. Thanks
for a great week of fishing everyone!
12th-18th. We caught some of everything.
Another great week of fishing. We were out every day again, and we caught some nice fish. Early in the week we had Shannon and Tom, who were on their honeymoon, on board and caught bonitos, then we had Greg and his party aboard and caught a really nice golden amberjack and had the pleasure of watching the boat next to us fight a big spinner shark. What a sight! It's great to see the spinner sharks around, and they should be around until the end of September.
Mid week we had Mike and party on board and had a great day catching bonitas. We dropped on a wreck and caught another great golden amberjack and to top off the day we landed a 44” cow dolphin fish. We also had Ron and his family on board midweek and were able to land some more bonitas, a couple of 10-pound kings and a big barracuda. Over the weekend we had Robert and John and party on the boat and just had a great day of fishing. We kite fished with live baits on the reef and caught some bonitas, king fish, a couple of 8 to 10 pound dolphin fish, a blackfin tuna and two really nice sailfish.
Saturday we had John and his party on board, and had another good day of fishing. We landed bonitas again, 2 huge barracudas and another sailfish. Then Sunday, Manuel and party were onboard and we caught a nice barracuda and another sailfish. What a week! Life is good and fishing is GREAT! Come on down and join the fun!!!
21st
- 27th. Bonitas
and Kings
were biting!
This
was the week
of bonitos and
kings with some
snappers, a 30
pound wahoo,
a 12 pound wahoo,
a 54” cow
dolphin fish,
some smaller
dolphin fish,
and a sailfish
caught later
in the week.
We were out every
day this week
and had some
great customers
on board. Joe
and his party
caught a nice
amberjack and
Arvid loaded
up on snappers.
Late in the week
we had Mike,
Rick and their
sons fishing
with us, and
we landed them
a sailfish and
had a chance
at a nice dusky
shark, but he
broke off right
at the boat.
Mike and his
son had such
a great time
fishing with
us that they
decided to go
again the next
day, and we caught
a really nice
barracuda. We
also had Brady
and his party
on the boat and
caught some kings
and a couple
of barracudas.
